A delightfully silly retelling of a classic nursery rhyme of Itsy’s journey back to Momma Spider’s web… It’s still easily sung to the well known tune with opportunities for silly voices and sound effects. We have fun reading this one together.

This book is about a spider that was blown out a window of a barn. It drifts through the wind from one animal to another. The book is very colorful and it introduces animals noises. Children are able to follow the spider web by tracing the glitter path.

这本书讲的是一只蜘蛛从谷仓的窗户被炸飞的故事。它随风从一个动物飘到另一个动物。这本书非常丰富多彩，它介绍了动物的叫声。孩子们可以通过追踪闪闪发光的路径来跟踪蜘蛛网。

The book is about a young spider that gets blown out of an open window whilst playing high up in a barn. He ends up being blown unto one animal to another until he is eventually blown back to his mother’s web.
这本书讲的是一只小蜘蛛在谷仓高处玩耍时被吹出窗户的故事。他最终被吹到一只动物身上，再吹到另一只动物身上，最后被吹回到妈妈的网里。

The sentences are written in a rhyming manner, and the book contains lots of visuals. I personally don’t like the book as in contains many words that some children may find difficult (e.g. catapulted, gust, clumps etc). Obviously, one can pre-teach these words beforehand. I guess this book is excellent for more able 3-5 year old. This book would be good for independent reading and to have it on the class bookshelf.

这些句子是用押韵的方式写的，书中有很多视觉效果。我个人不喜欢这本书，因为里面有很多单词，有些孩子可能会觉得困难(例如弹射，阵风，丛生等)。显然，我们可以预先教这些词。我想这本书对于3-5岁的孩子来说是极好的。这本书适合独立阅读，可以放在班级书架上。

The Itsy Bitsy Spider book takes a new twist on the song. The illustrator really nailed how to keep the attention of the children with the glitter line following where the spider goes. This book talks about different animals and what they say and sound like. My only negative is that it says a black and white cow however the cow is painted with blue spots not black. This is one of my favorite books and a great vocabulary building book.

这本名为《小蜘蛛》(Itsy Bitsy Spider)的书对这首歌进行了新的改编。这位插画家用闪闪发光的线条跟随蜘蛛的去向，很好地吸引了孩子们的注意力。这本书讲述了不同的动物以及它们说什么和听什么。我唯一的缺点是它说一头黑白相间的奶牛，然而这头奶牛被涂上了蓝色的斑点，而不是黑色的。这是我最喜欢的书之一，也是一本很好的词汇积累书。

Jack Tickle 是著名插画家Jane Chapman的化名，她为许多儿童书本创作了备受喜爱的插画，其自己创作的儿童故事也广受好评。专心于充满童趣的动物主题创作近二十年，看看她的部分作品合影，有好多国内也出过中文版。

她之所以喜欢用丙烯酸漆来画画居然是因为如果不小心把食物落在画上时可以轻易的擦掉，她创造绘画时喜欢边吃饼干边听音乐广播，据说她家有一个巨大的饼干桶，就像很多人喜欢吃超大桶的冰淇淋一样，享受的是一个氛围和过程。这样一位超级可爱的作者创作出来的作品可想而知有多么的棒了！
