Watch out!I am Hoot Owl! I’m hungry.‌‌And here I come!

小心!我是猫头鹰!我饿了。‌‌我来了!

The darkness of midnight is all around me.

But I fly through it as quick‌‌ as a shooting star.‌‌

午夜的黑暗包围着我。

And look there…

a tasty rabbit for me to eat.‌‌ 

Soon my sharp beak will be‌‌ gobbling that rabbit up!

It doesn’t work.‌‌ Never mind. I am Hoot Owl! I’m hungry.

扑了个空。‌‌不要紧。我是猫头鹰! 我饿了。

And here I come!‌‌ 

The night has a thousand eyes,and two of them are mine.‌‌ 

I swoop through the bleak blackness like a wolf in the air.‌‌

我来了！

我划破这阴冷寂夜，

仿佛风中一匹饿狼。

And look there…

a juicy little lamp stands,‌‌helpless,in the cool of the night!

The lamp looks‌‌ cuddly,‌‌ but soon I will be eating it‌.

一只多汁的小羊站着，‌‌无助地，在这凉爽的夜晚!

A soft and fluffy mother sheep.‌‌

It is the perfect way to catch a lamp.‌‌I wait.

一只柔软又毛茸茸的羊妈妈‌‌，
这是捕捉一只羊的完美方式。‌我等待。

It doesn’t work.‌‌ But still‌‌… I am Hoot Owl! I’m hungry.

The terrible silence of the night‌‌ spreads everywhere.

But I cut through it like a knife‌‌.

扑了个空。‌‌但是仍然‌‌…我是猫头鹰! 我饿了。
可怕的寂静的夜晚‌‌到处蔓延。
但我像刀一样把它切开‌‌。

And look there…

‌a pigeon stands‌‌ ,trembling,‌‌ afraid that a dangerous creature-of-the-dark‌‌ such as an owl‌‌,might be passing by‌!

‌In a matter of moments,‌‌ the pigeon will be in my tummy.‌‌

It doesn’t work.But never mind.‌‌ 

I am Hoot Owl!‌‌ I’m very, very‌‌ hungry.‌‌

And here I come‌‌!

The shadowy light stretches‌‌ away forever,‌‌

as black as‌‌ burnt‌‌ toast.‌‌ 

夜色影影绰绰，

无边无际，

漆黑得就像烤焦的面包。

And look there.‌‌…

A mouth-watering pizza‌‌!My eyes‌‌ glitter like sardines‌‌ because I am sure the pizza will be mine.‌‌

a waiter！It is the perfect way to catch a pizza.‌‌ I wait.‌‌

The disguise works!

The pizza does not move!

They don’t call me Master of Disguise for nothing.‌‌

伪装成功了!
披萨不动!
他们叫我伪装大师可不是白叫的‌‌。

I chomp the pizza with my‌‌ deadly-dangerous‌‌ beak.‌‌ 

it is‌‌ pepperoni‌‌.The last bite is as good as the first.‌

我用我的‌‌致命的危险的‌‌嘴嚼披萨‌‌。
这是‌‌意大利辣香肠‌‌。最后一口和第一口一样美味‌。

Then,tired but satisfied,I transform myself back into plain Hoot Owl.

I disappear into the dark‌‌ enormousness of the night. 

I am gone‌‌.

And the world can sleep again‌‌.
